Your wedding party is sorted (see here if you missed the last blog post) but next is your ceremony + reception. Here are a few ideas for decorating your venues.
Anything is possible, and perhaps you have the budget to do it all.... however, let us assume there isn't a blank cheque - my top tip is think about the big impact pieces. You may think they will be expensive, but personally I believe that you can easily minimise the small florals elsewhere if you have a big statement!
You will have a gorgeous photo backdrop for your most memorable photos with your loved ones, families + friends. Your guests will be left amazed, it will be what they chat about all day, and will sneak their own selfies once you are all done... trust me, I have done it myself and have the selfies to prove it.
Creating that fabulous impact for your entrance or ceremony.
Not just circular, there are frames in lots of types of materials and shapes to suit your vibe.
Great ways to dress aisles, entrances, marquees... you name it!
Grand urns, or country themes milk churns, all can be eyecatching.
Meadow boxes are great for separation of areas, aisle displays, or maximising the impacts of arches!
Have you got a fabulous window or fireplace at your venue?
Floral mantels can work from delicate spring wildflowers all the way through to autumnal foliage or even lean into Christmas for winter weddings.
Decorate your aisle with pew ends, from a single statement stem, or a bundle of blooms.
Country weddings theme? Look no further. Dress up any corner with crates filled with florals, or stack them for height and impact.
Your aisle could step away from the traditional pew ends and consider florals on chairs or along the aisle to make your style statement as you sashay down the catwalk.
I hope this gives you some ideas and options if you are planning your venue flowers. These options are just a few of the usual items you see - but there are so many more possibilities. (If anyone wants a staircase installation I so want to do one!) Remember, the day is yours, so you do what you want to.
